Since 75% of reading in Hmong requires straight memorization, we focus heavily on the use of digital flashcards for memorization.  Digital flashcards allow us to use TEXT, IMAGES, and SOUNDS, which is essential to verify CORRECT PRONUNCIATION.  Pronunciation is obviously very important since the Hmong language can be so dependent on the pitch of a sound."
